Time Trial Leaderboards: 13.5T Stock, Modified & Open Classes
In indoor RC racing, a single fast lap is only half the story — winning a qualifier means putting together three clean, consistent minutes without clipping a barrier or needing a marshal.
That is why leaderboards in RCHUB Racing are built around the classic 3:00 Time Trial qualifier.
How a Time Trial Run Works
- Start from the Pit / Grid: At the start call, the marshal places your car onto the rubber racing line facing the driving direction.
- 3:00 Race Clock + Overtime: Once the clock starts, you have 3 minutes (180 seconds) to complete as many laps as possible, plus up to 45 seconds of overtime after the buzzer to cross the finish line and complete your final lap.
- Two Leaderboards per Track & Class:
- 13.5T Stock (`stock`): 1:10 4WD Touring chassis with the spec 13.5T brushless motor and 2S LiPo.
- Modified (`mod`): 1:10 4WD Touring chassis with modified motors (down to 4.5T) and 2S LiPo.
- Open (`open`): 1:12 LMP Pan Car on 1S LiPo & foam tyres, as well as custom motor builds.
- Track Version Integrity: If a track author edits the barriers or geometry of a published track, its geometry hash changes and a new leaderboard version starts automatically — cosmetic color changes (such as carpet or island colors) keep the existing leaderboard intact.
- Incidents & Track Cuts: Cutting across the track invalidates the current lap (`cut`). Using car reset (`reset`) or a marshal lift (`marshal`) is logged in your run breakdown so everyone can see how clean a run was.
- Best Single Lap: Ranked by your fastest valid lap time.
- Best 3-Minute Run: Ranked just like RC qualifying — most laps completed in 3:00, with total elapsed time as the tiebreaker (e.g. `14 laps in 3:05.420` beats `14 laps in 3:08.110`).
Three Official Classes
Leaderboards are separated into three classes so every car specification competes on a level playing field:
